New Horizon Special School
New Horizon school is a private school dedicated to children and
adults with special needs. The school accommodates 180 students of all
ages in both the Academic & Occupational parts of the school. SAF
was involved in the renovation of the New Horizon school shop in order
to accommodate the products created by the students in the workshops.
SAF is granting scholarships for 3 students at the school including
transportation,food and care takers.
SAF’s latest initiative at
New Horizon Special School is its weekly art classes.Our volunteers, who
visit the school once every week, take part in a hands-on art classes
with both the children and the adults by exploring different materials
and different themes.The collaboration between SAF’s volunteers and New
Horizon’s students brings joy and a sense of contentment to all the
parties involved and this creates a mutual anticipation for the
subsequent week’s class.
